Marketing Coordinator
Belen earned her Bachelor's degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and completed a six month internship with the DDA prior to being hired in July of 2009, making her already familiar with the Downtown area, businesses, and DDA goals. Since joining the DDA team, Belen has assisted in planning and executing events, produces the DDA's weekly e-newsletter, and manages the DDA's social networking objectives and websites, including the DDA iPhone App. Downtown has already been privileged to experience some of her many talents as she worked on the Fashion Rocks Fashion Show, Student Showcase of Films, and many other projects including business outreach, researching sponsorship opportunities, and much more.
As the Marketing Coordinator for the Downtown Development Authority, Belen is charged with directing, leading, and managing the marketing and public relations efforts for the downtown core. Belen works closely with local stakeholders to promote the area through fresh upbeat marketing campaigns and promotions, large and small scale events, and cutting edge ventures with individual business owners.
