Penny DeStefano
Director of Administration
Penny DeStefano came to the Downtown Development Authority from the Manager office of the Village of Wellington. She originates from Brooklyn, New York and has been a resident of Palm Beach County for over 20 years. Her career in office administration began through a cooperative educational program at one of the then big eight accounting firms in Manhattan
In her early career she acquired myriad business experience through working in several venues includes public relations, advertising, conservation, customer service and local government. Ms. DeStefano has worked with several foundations in an administrative and grants management capacity. In addition to Independent consultant work, she is a published author. Currently as the Director of Administration, Ms. DeStefano is tasked with the management of business records, finances, human resources, and the overall successful operation of the DDA office.
